2011 COVERAGE
Coverage of the 2011 White Point Landslide in beautiful San Pedro, CA on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. The “bluff failure”, in front of the adjacent White Point Nature Preserve to the west, created a unique new cove, canyon and island with a lone palm tree on it that used to be on the ocean side of the coastal road. No homes are in danger.
Sure, National media attention, and tragic to many. Others, a time and road travel inconvenience. Our neighborhood is strong, connected and united.
