Palisades Residents who are interested in serving on the Coastal San Pedro Neighborhood Council’s “Ad Hoc” White Point Landslide Committee should contact the CSPNC and attend the next meeting on Monday, February 27 at 6:30.

Today, LAFD and other City personnel are inspecting the tunnels under the Nike Missle site again.
A few weeks ago, the LAFD ventured into the tunnels and found no flooding, whereas in the past flooding had been reported.

I am curious, you report flooding in the tunnels had been reported in the past? Hmm, I never heard that but I heard that there had been pools of water bubbling that people thought were springs at WPNP. I also heard that a pipe from the leftover military infrastructure had ruptured (a long time ago) and caused flooding at the surface. But I never heard there was flooding inside the tunnels. Is this a valid report or just a rumor?
