Thanks to Councilmen Tom LaBonge and Eric Garcetti for introducing the motion on the community’s behalf, LA: 15th Council District reports that the Los Angeles City Council approved its motion to allow free parking at meters in shopping districts in Council District 15.
The free holiday parking will be from Saturday, December 10 to Saturday, December 31, enabling more cost-effective shopping at local stores and patronizing San Pedro restaurants this holiday season.
That is, in addition to the already year round free parking at The Corner Store.
