
The Multiple Air Toxics Exposure Study III (MATES III) is a study that monitors and evaluates current levels of cancer-causing toxic air pollutants in the South Coast Air Basin. The results are in and you can hear a presentation by the South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) at tomorrows Port Community Advisory Committe (PCAC) meeting.
The meeting will be held Tuesday, February 19 at the Crowne Plaza, 601 Palos Verdes St., San Pedro from 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm.
Two upcoming workshops will be open to the public for discussion about the MATES III study:

A draft report of the MATES III study was released on January 4, 2008 for a 90-day public review and comment period which ends April 4, 2008.
